Blogmas Day 9;
Today’s “What I Wore” Wednesday is for work. I work in an office but between getting buses and walking there I can’t really afford to go too dressy. I usually opt for the more comfortable option. The dress code is smart casual which is typically black slacks and a dressy tops but I like to mix and match.
I love these comfortable coloured jeans. I have these in maroon, which I opted for today, and in tan and I they work with both casual and dressy looks. My top is a plunge neck, see-through, white shirt with three-quarter length sleeves and a zip down front. I love this piece as I think it’s a little unique. As it’s see through I wear a cami underneath, usually white but today I could only find black!
My cardigan is actually one I bought for a Stepford Wives costume for Halloween. I’ve got nothing against cardigans, I just don’t think they particularly like me! There’s something cute about them and that cuteness kind of disappears when you’re 5’8″ 😛 It’s kind of a marine green colour so I was just a big ball of Christmas today.
Again, I threw on my large army green jacket. I finished the look with casual, flat, black boots and brought my massive brown/purple wool scarf for warmth.
With the weather we’ve been having I felt the least I deserved when I got home was a glass of wine! And the mince pie might be research for this coming “Foodie Friday” 😉 Stay tuned!
Note on my make-up;
